In the special period of shortage of manpower in the Spring Festival, many "robots" have also played a greater role in ensuring the normal operation of logistics.
The reporter saw that, unlike the traditional logistics warehouse, Jingdong Logistics's warehouse in Nanxiaoying, Beijing, has a 2,800-square-meter robotic area, which stores small items such as network cards and razors. To find which product, the picker only needs to perform a few simple operations on the computer, and the robot will “snap†the shelf where the product is located and come to the picker.
These robots look like "sweepers." "This kind of robot is called an automatic navigation car. We all call it AGV, which can carry out the work of rack handling." Lian Feifeng said.
Lianfeifeng is an engineer of the AGV project and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the automatic navigation trolley. He told reporters that each auto-navigation car has a camera that can be positioned and navigated by recognizing the two-dimensional code "map" on the ground. When an order is received, the server will generate an decision command based on the data of the Jingdong Logistics Warehousing Management System. Once positioned in this warehouse, the idle robot will find the corresponding shelf according to a reasonable route and lift it up and transport it to the picking station for packaging. If there is no electricity, the robot will automatically find the charging pile to charge, and the "people" will wait in line, fully charged and return to work.
