January 6 News VR and mobile game developer XR Games recently completed a $2.6 million investment.
This funding comes from the Australian venture capital agency Global Merces. The agency's Adam Schoff will join the XR Games board of directors and be responsible for international media strategy.
Bobby Thandi, co-founder and CEO of XR Games, has worked for DreamWorks, Mattel, Disney, BBC, PBS KIDS and others. Xiao Bian learned that some funds will be used to expand the size of the XR Games team and attract more professional and experienced designers, developers and artists to join.
