At the same time, the 6th-generation flexible LTPS-AMOLED production line project to be built by Wuhan Star Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. in Wuhan is expected to be put into mass production in 2020.

In recent years, leading domestic display panel companies represented by China Star Optoelectronics and Tianma have invested in building flexible display production lines in Wuhan.

It is reported that Huaxing and Tianma have already put into production and are currently constructing production lines in Han. The total investment will exceed 100 billion yuan. With the launch of new AMOLED production lines, such as China Star Optoelectronics, BOE and Tianma, mass production has begun. By 2020, the initial distressed 1% market space will exceed 25%.

All this means that, in the field of Samsung's absolute preoccupation, the homemade OLED screen has ripped a hole.

So far, BOE has placed two production lines in the field of flexible AMOLED: Chengdu 6th generation flexible AMOLED production line, and Mianyang 6th generation flexible AMOLED production line. In the future, there will be more and more domestic smart products using BOE's AMOLED display.

However, even if the days of starring on the screen to "bullying" domestically made mobile phones are over, we still need to look at it sensibly.

According to foreign media reports, the latest news from industry sources stated that Samsung Display will supply 180 million to 200 million flexible OLED panels for Apple's iPhone this year, about four times last year's supply. With a 90% yield, Samsung Display will be able to produce about 224 million 6-inch OLED panels per year.

At the same time, there are market research institutions that China's domestic AMOLED screen makers still lag behind South Korea’s Samsung monitors for several years.

Therefore, they need to do a good job in technology research and development, master core technology patents, improve their own production capacity and supply, so that they can catch up, break through foreign technology blockades and barriers, and fundamentally reverse China's "shortage of pain."
