Facebook VR One is expected to be released next year

Since Facebook first unveiled its independent Santa Cruz prototype last year, it hasn't seen any updates so far. However, a small report today shows that the company will release a VR all-in-one next year, priced at only US$200.

According to sources quoted by Bloomberg News who declined to be named, the headphone is codenamed Pacific. It will have a similar interface to Samsung Gear VR, but Pacific will have all the necessary components built-in. One of the sources added that the device will be lighter than the Gear VR and will use a wireless controller to control the device. Bloomberg reported that Pacific plans to use Qualcomm's Snapdragon mobile chip as a processor, and its gaming capabilities will be better than Gear VR, but it does not include location tracking technology, but future versions will have this feature.

Interestingly, the device may be different from last year's Santa Cruz debut. Santa Cruz is actually a single prototype, basically a wireless version of Rift that does not require a computer connection but has all the functionality of Rift. Does this mean that Facebook is developing two separate devices with different processing capabilities? Santa Cruz is a desktop VR level, and Pacific is a mobile VR level?

If the news is true, then Facebook’s move is likely to target Google’s upcoming WorldSense headline, a stand-alone device with built-in location tracking that supports the Google Daydream mobile VR ecosystem. If this is the case, Oculus will once again compete with HTC, and HTC will announce WorldSense heads later this year. Currently, the Oculus Rift and htc vive of the two companies are also competing in the high-end VR field.

The news also pointed out that Facebook plans to use China's Xiaomi and other co-producers to produce new head-ups for the global market. People familiar with the matter said that equipment marked with the Oculus brand will be on sale around the world, and a millet customized version will also appear. Will run some millet software applications. It is worth mentioning that Hugo Barra was recently responsible for Oculus's virtual reality product. He was previously a Xiaomi executive.

As for content, Facebook plans to brief content designers, such as video designers, by October so that the device’s app store and compatible games can be launched together and the app store will be re-produced.

Application: flow meter measurement

There are many kinds of USF used in closed pipeline according to the measuring principle, and the most commonly used are propagation time method and Doppler method. Among them, time difference ultrasonic flowmeter is used to measure fluid flow by the principle that the time difference of sound wave propagating downstream and countercurrent is proportional to the velocity of fluid flow. It is widely used in raw water measurement of rivers, rivers and reservoirs, process flow detection of petrochemical products, water consumption measurement of production process and other fields. According to practical application, time-difference ultrasonic flowmeter can be divided into portable time-difference ultrasonic flowmeter, fixed time-difference ultrasonic flowmeter and time-difference gas ultrasonic flowmeter.

Ultrasonic flow-meters use at least two transducers aligned so that ultrasonic pulses travel across the flow of liquid or gas in a pipe at a known angle to the flow.
