Wonderful adventures with dogs! This VR animation landed on Gear VR

Virtual Reality Co (VRC for short) is a VR film and television production company composed of Hollywood stars. The company released its first animated short film “Raising a Rukus” for Samsung Gear VR on Thursday. Raising a Rukus tells the story of a pair of twin siblings (brothers and sisters) and a dog. The short film can be purchased at the Oculus store for $3.99.

The VRC is famous for helping to create a Mars Rescue virtual reality experience. The Mars Rescue VR experience is based on the film production of the same name starring Matt Damon in 2015. Currently VRC has partnered with Steven Spielberg to develop another VR project for all family audiences. Raising a Rukus is VRC's first animated short film and it is expected to be the first of a series. The short film has a "branch" situation node, and the audience can choose different characters to develop different scenarios. Robert Stromberg, VRC’s chief creative officer, spoke about this creation in an interview in March of this year: “I want to present these same elements in a new way. The characters take their lives to the audience rather than seeing them from a window.” Stromberg was a two-time Oscar winner, having served as Alice in Wonderland and Avatar art directors. Cooperated with Nicole Perlman, author of The Guardians of the Galaxy, and Skywalker sounds, a subsidiary of Lucasfilm.
