High-precision, economical nanosensors detect a wide range of harmful gases

According to reports, nano gas sensor innovator AerNos recently announced that they have developed a miniature, high-precision, economical nano-gas sensor capable of simultaneously detecting multiple ppb-level (billionths) harmful gases. The sensor is designed for integration of IoT connected devices.

Using AerNos' patented AerCNT technology, its Smart City Air Pollution Nano Gas Sensor (AerSCAP) product line detects carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, surface ozone, sulfur dioxide and gas leaks.

Currently, AerNos AerSCAP products are available in three configurations that support simultaneous detection of 3, 4, and 7 hazardous gases.

Optimized for stationary and mobile applications, AerNos AerSCAP products can be easily integrated into existing urban infrastructure such as street lights, parking meters, traffic lights, surveillance systems, public transportation systems and other smart city implementations.
