This article describes how to use Zhuo Yu's N2N product to realize the remote monitoring function of Mitsubishi's network port PLC.
1 Overview
1.1 Introduction to Mitsubishi L02 PLC
The most complete communication host in the industry: host point 8DI/4DO, built-in Mini USB, Ethernet, and 2 sets of RS-485 communication ports.
(1) The L series PLC has a compact body, but it inherits high performance, versatility, and large capacity.
(2) The CPU has a basic arithmetic processing speed of 9.5ns × 2 and a program capacity of 260K steps, and the maximum I/O can be expanded to 8129 points.
(3) Built-in positioning, high-speed counters, pulse capture, interrupt input, general-purpose I/O, and other functions, integrating many functions in one.
(4) Hardware, built-in Ethernet and USB interface, easy programming and communication, configured SD memory card, can store up to 4G of data.
(5) Modules with different functions can be arbitrarily added without a substrate.
However, this product can only realize the update and download of the program in the LAN, and it cannot remotely monitor with the GX software via the Internet. With Zhuo Yu's new generation of N2N (network port to network port mapping) technology can solve this problem.
The intranet NAT mapper (N2N) corresponds to the ZOL7144N2 from the product model. This product has N2N function, that is, network port to network port function. You can map the network port on the intranet to another network port on the intranet. You can implement intranet traversal. The external network can conveniently monitor the TCP devices on the internal network.
The Zhuoyi N2N function is based on the core technology developed by P2P serial server. There is no need for router port mapping, and it is not necessary for the internal network computer to install the software agent to transmit the access to the internal network device.
The N2N function can be widely applied to the remote monitoring of network ports such as network ports PLC and network interface touch screens, and the program is downloaded.
2. Connection diagram The ZLAN7144N2 has two networking options:
Solution one: The wired connection network ZLAN7144N2 is wired to the router or switch. The IP address of the 7144N2 is the same as the network segment of the LAN. The subnet mask and gateway are the same as the LAN. The PLC and the 7144N2 are connected to the same LAN. The 7144N2 enables the P2P function. You can.
Solution 2: WIFI connection Configure the wireless WIFI of ZLAN7144N2 and connect it to the WIFI hotspot of the router (For specific wireless configuration methods, refer to the ZLAN7104 setup). Connect the PLC to the ZLAN7144N2 with a network cable to realize the on-site construction of remote monitoring. This not only realizes the network port PLC turn Wifi, but also can realize the external network connection PLC through N2N technology.
When using the N2N technology to remotely control the network port device, first enable the P2P function of the ZLAN7144N2 according to the normal P2P method. Then on the remote computer, run ZLVircom_p2p_pc.exe software (this is a special version of P2P function, ordinary ZLVircom does not contain this function) and the user's PLC software. The purpose of running ZLVircom is to virtualize a port on the local computer, such as 2308. In this way, the PLC software can directly access the network port PLC by connecting to the 2308 port of the local computer. When ZLVircom P2P device is added, the setting parameters are as follows:
The ID is the global unique ID of the ZLAN7144N2 device. The local analog port is the port to which the PLC software connects. The internal network IP of N2N is used to fill in the local area network IP of the network port of the PLC. The N2N port is generally the same as the local analog port.
4. Mitsubishi PLC software configurationMitsubishi PLC works2 software operates as follows. Click on the GX Works icon to run the software.
Click on the menu "Online", select "PLC read" in the PLC series selection, select the Mitsubishi PLC model, here is the LCPU series, click OK. If the confirmation dialog pops up "When selecting a new project, the current settings will be lost. Are you sure?" Click OK.
The dialog box shown above is displayed. Double-click the Ether Board. In the first step, set it as shown in the following figure. Note that the IP address here should be filled in 127.0.0.1. This is a special place for N2N monitoring.
Click No Specification in the third step, the configuration timeout is as follows:
Then click on the communication test and the prompt “Connected with L02CPU/L02CPU-P†can be displayed. Click the OK button.
The steps to write a PLC are similar to reading a PLC. In this way, you can control the remote network port PLC in the same way as a local LAN.
