The research agency recently announced that only 191 million (6.8%) of the world's 2.8 billion smart phones are compatible with the major VR headlines: Gear VR and Google Daydream. Among them, 184.4 million smart phones can support Gear VR (6.6%); 5.6 million (0.2) can support Daydream recently released. These two devices represent the benchmark of the current mobile VR. The report pointed out that the area with the highest market potential for high-end mobile virtual reality is the United States, with the number of VR-Ready smartphones reaching 13.8 million units (12%).
