The MAX2055 is a high-performance, digitally controlled, variable-gain, differential analog-to-digital converter (ADC) driver/amplifier (DVGA) designed for 30MHz to 300MHz base station receiver applications.
The device integrates a digitally controlled attenuator and a high linearity single-ended to differential output amplifier, eliminating the need for an external transformer or improving the even-order distortion performance of the transformer-coupled circuit, thus reducing the anti-aliasing filter before the ADC Requirements. The MAX2055 is designed for ADC driver applications that require dynamic gain scaling or one-shot channel gain settings for applications that require high performance. The attenuator provides a 23dB attenuation range with an accuracy of ±0.2dB.
