NXP Introduces Industry's First Multi-Protocol Wireless Microcontroller Solution

Securely interconnected single-chip KineTIs microcontrollers (MCUs) with higher memory capacity, dedicated encryption technology, and low power consumption make these IoT solutions possible today

Santa Clara, CA – October 18, 2016 – NXP Semiconductors NV (NASDAQ: NXPI) today announced that the industry's first monolithic multi-protocol wireless connectivity microcontroller (MCU) is available Goods, the KineTIs KW41Z microcontroller (MCU) series is fully available. In response to the growing demand for secure and reliable communication between IoT devices, Thread provides a powerful IP-based mesh network technology to build a secure, scalable and reliable private network. At the same time, these connected devices are required to use the BLE protocol to control and monitor them through smart devices (such as smart phones or tablets), or join the Thread network to implement indirect control and monitoring through cloud technology at home.
