The rectifier circuit is also divided into four types.
The first type is half-wave rectification. Half-wave rectifiers typically require only one diode. For details, we can see the following figure 1. The circuit can only have a single secondary coil transformer. See Figure 3. The current waveform and output voltage on the load are exactly the same as in the second full-wave rectifier circuit.
The last one is double voltage rectification. This rectifier circuit uses multiple diodes and capacitors to obtain a higher DC voltage.
