The module socket is suitable for broadband switches, hubs, routers, servers and communication applications. Compared to the traditional fully gold-plated version, FCI 's optional gold-plated RJ45 connectors maintain their original durability or performance and offer a clear competitive advantage.

FCI's RJ45 connector is available in 1x1 single port, 1X2, 1X4, 1X6, 1X8 multiport, and 2X1, 2x2, 2x3, 2x4, 2x6, 2X8 stacked multiport versions with optional LEDs Shielding device. They are designed to be simple and flexible to support 16Mbps signal transmission in Category 3 cables over network and telecom equipment.

The module socket is designed according to GS -12 - 0990 (multi-port), GS -12- 0947 (single port) and UL94V-0 specifications, and is RoHS compliant, with shielded housing for EMI protection. The RJ45 connector can withstand operating temperatures from -40° to 85°C, and its plating options include: G/F, 6u", 15u" and 30u" gold-plated, and match the LED color.
