Keep up with technology**, CEA changed its name

Following the technological revolution, CEA changed its name

On November 10, 2015 in Arlington, Virginia, the US Consumer Electronics Association (CEA®) announced its new name, the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)TM, and immediately Enabled. The CTA announced the new name and announced the new new logo at the CES New York launch. This half-day conference allowed some industry professionals and media reporters to preview the most innovative technologies and products of the year ahead of schedule at the 2016 CES. At the same time, CTA also held an annual general meeting at the "New York Innovation Conference" held at the same time, and adopted the new name by member vote at this meeting.

“Innovation and continuous expansion are hallmarks of the consumer technology industry and our association. As the industry changes, we must make changes,” said Gary Shapiro, president and chief executive officer of the American Consumer Technology Association. “Our membership category and the entire consumer technology industry have continued to expand and have almost touched on all major industrial sectors and the emerging economy that is rapidly developing in the United States, covering almost all aspects of consumer life. Our new name— The American Consumer Technology Association more accurately represents this trend and the passion and innovation that we represent in this industry. The CTA also better represents the vision of our association, industry policy areas supported and advocated. , the broad representation of the existing membership groups and the brand's own commitment to its members."

The Consumer Technology Association of the United States represents more than 2,200 technology companies, of which 80% are small businesses and start-up companies, and the rest are world-class companies. These companies have changed the way we work, live, learn, communicate and entertain, and have changed the world. The U.S. Consumer Technology Association changed the "electronics" to "technical" not to represent the wide range of consumer technology industries so that it can accurately represent another group of members - including BMW, Expedia, Inc., Ford, Google , Lyft, Netflix, Pandora, Snapchat, Starz, Uber, WebMD, Yelp, and non-hardware innovation companies such as 20th Century Fox.

"With the rapid development of innovation in the field of science and technology, we have also expanded our membership to industries that include emerging technologies and other cross-connected industries." said Dan Pidgeon, chairman of Starpower and chairman of the CTA, "Applications And software development, crowdsourcing technology and content development, personal health care, sharing economy, music streaming services - all these and even more areas of business represent us as the public discourse of the business community, outstanding innovation leaders and leading Market researcher."

The American Consumer Technology Association will continue to have CES® - this "global innovation stage." CES is an internationally renowned brand that represents innovation. It provides the global science and technology industry with an up-to-date trend of experience, an international platform that understands the changing game rules of the industry, and can always find surprises. CES will not change as the association changes its name.

In fact, every change in the name of the CTA is a response to the rapid development of the technology industry. It was originally a radio manufacturer association in 1924 and later evolved into an electronics industry association followed by a consumer electronics manufacturers association. Until 1999, it was officially renamed the American Consumer Electronics Association.

"Although our name has changed, our association's position is firm — to promote the growth of the consumer technology industry." Mr. Shapiro said, "The American Consumer Technology Association is still vocal for all walks of life to fight for and defend advanced technology policies." Our commitments and commitments in market research, public policy, technical training, promotion of industry development, setting of technical standards, and organization of various activities will continue and be strengthened."

About CTA:

The Consumer Technology Association (CTA)TM, formerly known as the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)®. Representing US$285 billion in U.S. consumer technology assets, more than 2,200 companies—80% are small companies, and the rest are the world’s best known brands. They enjoy the benefits of being a CTA member, including policy advocacy, market research, technical training, industry upgrades and standards development, and business development and strategic relationships. CTA owns and hosts CES®, the largest gathering of people in the world relying on consumer technology business. The benefits of CES® are reinvested in CTA's industry services.

Linear Power Supply

A Linear Power Supply is an electronic device designed to provide a precise and stable DC voltage output from an AC input. It utilizes a linear regulator to maintain a constant output voltage despite variations in input voltage or load current.
Working Principle
Transformer Stage: The AC input voltage is first stepped down by a transformer to a lower AC voltage level.
Rectification: The transformed AC voltage is then converted into pulsating DC voltage through a rectifier circuit, typically using diodes.
Filtering: A filter circuit, often consisting of capacitors, removes ripple from the pulsating DC voltage to produce a smoother DC output.
Regulation: A linear regulator adjusts the output voltage to maintain a precise and stable level, despite changes in input voltage or load conditions. This is achieved by dissipating excess power in the form of heat.
Key Features:Stable Output、Low Noise、Excellent Regulation、Simple Circuitry
