Figure 7-58 is a block diagram of a FM transmitter. The carrier frequency fc = 88 ～ 108MHz, the input modulation signal frequency is 50Hz ～ 15kHz, and the maximum frequency deviation is 75kHz. It can be seen from the figure that the frequency modulation method is indirect frequency modulation. The initial carrier signal of fc1 = 200kHz generated by the high stability crystal oscillator is sent to the phase modulator, and its phase is modulated by the pre-emphasized and integrated modulation signal. The maximum frequency deviation of the phase modulation output is 25Hz, and the modulation index mf <0.5.
