On July 23, CREE announced the appointment of Neill Reynolds as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), which took effect on August 27. According to the transition plan announced in June, Reynolds will replace Mike McDevitt.
Previously, Reynolds served as senior vice president of finance, strategy and procurement at NXP Semiconductors NV. At NXP, Reynolds has led global teams to develop and drive profitable plans, expand company profitability and achieve growth targets.
Prior to joining NXP, he served as the financial controller of several international technology companies for more than 15 years, including GE. He holds the position of Chief Financial Officer in a number of technology industries and serves the management team to provide continuous profit growth for the global industrial and manufacturing business.
