Operation and test:

1. Take the undisturbed soil as needed or prepare the soil sample in the desired state with the disturbed soil, and cut it into a cube sample with a side length of 5 cm with a soil cutter.

2. Determine the moisture content and density of the sample according to the regulations SL237-003 and SL237-004.

3. Place the sample in the center of the stencil. The stencil is hung under the pontoon. Then hold the front end of the pontoon and quickly immerse the sample into the water cylinder to start the stopwatch.

4. Immediately start the measurement is the instantaneous stable reading and starting time of the scale at the surface of the float.

5. After the test starts, press 1, 3, 10, 60min, 2, 3, 4... to measure the scale reading at the water surface of the float, and describe the disintegration of the sample at each reading, according to the speed of disintegration of the sample. The time interval for reading can be shortened or increased as appropriate.
