The Lithium-ion Battery charger circuit using the SC1410A chip is shown below.

The SC1410A uses a QASIC-16 packaged ASIC, which integrates an oscillator, a switch output circuit, PWM control, and current/voltage control protection. The patch field effect transistor VT implements an electronic switching function.

After the circuit is energized, the internal oscillator of the SC1410A oscillates to generate an oscillating signal of 500 kHz, so that the switching output circuit operates in the high-frequency switching state of alternating conduction and turn-off, and outputs a constant charging voltage to the lithium from the SC1410A10 pin (BATI battery terminal). Ion battery charging. When the GB is fully charged (the terminal voltage reaches 4.2V), the internal control and protection circuit of the chip works, and the 10-pin has no voltage output, and the charging ends.


If the input voltage is too high for some reason, VT is turned on, so that the voltage across Rs exceeds the reference threshold voltage of 2.465V, the protection circuit inside the chip operates, and the SC1410A10 pin has no voltage output.

Due to the use of charging ASICs and constant voltage and constant current control charging technology, this lithium-ion battery charger has the characteristics of simple peripheral circuit, stable performance, safety and reliability. When installing, always place the soldered circuit board in a self-made plastic box and fix the standard charging port at the corresponding position on the control panel.

After the whole machine is installed, it can be powered on normally without debugging.
