Do not be afraid of anatomy classes, this AR application saves you!

The school season is coming. For medical students, the first time an anatomy class may be a terrible thing. Imagine a specimen of a human body soaked in formalin, packed with a variety of craniums on the table, and a bloody picture!

Now maybe an AR APP can save you.

Recently, a company from Ireland 3D4Medical launched an AR anatomy app called "Project Esper". Through the video, we can see that this APP is like an AR textbook. Through 3D rendering, the teacher can use his fingers to present the internal structure of the virtual teacher in front of the student.

This APP perfectly displays the body's bones, muscles, arteries, veins, lymphatic nerves, and even the urogenital system. It can display 11 body system models and 8200 anatomical structures for males and females, as well as virtual people. The organs in the body are selected, and it is clearly set how the organs work in the human body. Even the virtual human head skeleton and brain structure can be directly observed.

This type of class overturned the training model of medical students in the past. It solved the limitation of the plane training in medical school anatomy classes to a certain extent. Through the AR, the human body structure can be more intuitively presented to students.

It is worth mentioning that at the Apple Global Developers Conference, Cook also mentioned this APP and stated that it will have a profound impact on human life.

However, this announcement is just a preemptive experience, 3D4Medical said that it will not take until 2017 to complete Project Esper.
