3. The test solution shall be adjusted to pH value with a reagent-grade hydrochloric acid or a dilute solution of sodium hydroxide, and measured by a pH meter or other reliable method. 4. In order to avoid the nozzle from clogging, the test solution should be filtered or carefully tilted into the salt water tank, or filtered at the front end of the spray suction pipe.
