Intel actively develops all-in-one computer standards

San Francisco, September 14 (Text / Liang Chin): Intel believes that the market's all-in-one computers are in full bloom, dazzling, and varied in shape, which is not conducive to the development of the market to a certain extent, and is ushering in the popularity of all-in-one computers. Today, at the Intel Information Technology Summit (IDF), Intel announced the technical details of the second-generation Intel Core processor (Sandy Bridge).

Intel revealed that Sandy Bridge will introduce low-power desktop processors, including 65W, 45W, 35W TDP desktop processor solutions - desktop miniaturization and fashion design.

Intel will provide a low-power version of the second-generation Intel Core processor family for desktop PCs, including a performance-optimized 65W solution and a 45W/35W power-optimized solution. Intel will release these boxed new low-power processors and provide new small heatsinks/fans through authorized distributors, making it easier for manufacturers to produce smaller, more stylish desktop systems.

In addition, Intel is also working to develop a standardized desktop board and chassis that are compliant with micro-ITX size specifications for all-in-one computers, helping local system integrators enter this fast-growing product segment.

Foxconn, Mitac, and Acer demonstrate an innovative all-in-one solution: Foxconn and Mitac demonstrated an innovative, compact all-in-one desktop design. Foxconn and Mitac's designs have conceptually validated Intel Buffalo Bay motherboards and reference power supplies for all-in-one designs. Acer's system uses a 65W Intel Core I7 desktop processor.

At present, the all-in-one computer market is in the ascendant, favored by home users in the consumer market, and the commercial high-end, stylish appearance and other features of the commercial one have successfully exploited the commercial PC market.
